EasterAmazingGraceSafeLanding

Happy Easter.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life in wholeness and fullness.

We made a "safe landing" here in Northern California by Grace to a 1955 Redwood Cottage on the Van Duzen River(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Duzen_River).

We will be posting weekly "B.P.F. GardenCam" videos.

Here is a video Easter tour of the New Home.

It starts by the Van Duzen River and our private "SunTan Glen" swimming hole (and fishing, a neighbor in the video happens to be at the River with a fishing hole). The start of the video goes from the Community River area and up the Community trail to our lot which is fenced and "half moon" in shape. There are 3 gates to the private road and the home is surrounded by flower beds and other plants shown in this video.  We have half our Garden Beds dug and planted. The pole beans don't like the cool weather, so they have not started climbing. We have 2 Kiwi vines and 7 grape vines and are doing branch arbor trellises for them to grow on. There was a established apple, cherry, peach tree and a couple citrus trees. The cherry has bloomed and the apple is in bloom in this video. Besides the established fruit trees (that got a needed pruning) we have added 8 more fruit trees and 4 blueberry bushes and strawberry plants (along w/ the grapes). We have a 5 ft X 5 ft peat moss seed bed (w/ redwood sides) for the blueberry seeds which we brought from Mississippi. There are 200 seeds planted (evenly scattered) about 28 days ago. They should start germinating soon and we expect about 100 seeds to be germinated. Of those we will select, over the next 3 years, the best suited for N Cali and  the Pacific Northwest new varieties for "Mother Plants". We will take cuttings from these "Mother" Blueberry bushes to distribute by giving one year old plants away (or "trade" or farmers markets in Humboldt county http://www.humfarm.org/). We will, over the coming year, do a weekly GardenCam to show the vegetable beds (& a little "medicine"=it is Humboldt County...some Grateful Dead OG Kush (https://www.stickyguide.com/dispensaries/medicine-bowl-collective/products/deadhead-og--4) fruit trees and the Blueberry bush seedlings. This video shows the yard ("GARDEN"), the Guest house, and the road around our lot. There is narration (maybe hard to hear some of it) in the video. It ends with a walk back to the Van Duzan and our swimming hole with our 2 dogs, Christa and Stud.

Happy Easter Everywhere!
