Background and Summary

Unexplained medical conditions can cause serious illness and disability among individuals, as well as demands on health care resources. In January 2008, CDC began an investigation that sought to better understand an unexplained apparent dermopathy, commonly referred to as Morgellons. CDC partnered with Kaiser Permanente (KP) - Northern California, a large group health plan in an area where many possible cases had been reported, and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, to begin a comprehensive clinical and laboratory study of this condition.
The investigators contacted patients among KP-Northern California enrollees who had reported symptoms that included abnormal skin sensations or sores along with the presence of fibers in the affected skin areas. Included among these patients were some who used the term Morgellons to describe their condition. The objective of the investigation was to identify any possible common cause or risk factors for the condition. Investigators also sought to objectively describe signs and symptoms of this condition, study biopsy specimens from patients' skin sores, and examine fibers or other materials reported by patients as being on or in their skin.
Results of the study, published in PloS One
show this condition appears to be uncommon among a population representative of Northern California residents. Skin damage from the sun was the most common skin abnormality found, and no single underlying medical condition or infectious source was identified. Upon thorough analysis, most sores appeared to result from chronic scratching and picking, without an underlying cause. The materials and fibers obtained from skin-biopsy specimens were mostly cellulose, compatible with cotton fibers.
Neuropsychological testing revealed a substantial number of study participants who scored highly in screening tests for one or more co-existing psychiatric or addictive conditions, including depression, somatic concerns (an indicator of preoccupation with health issues), and drug use.
This comprehensive study of an unexplained apparent dermopathy demonstrated no infectious cause and no evidence of an environmental link. There was no indication that it would be helpful to perform additional testing for infectious diseases as a potential cause. Future efforts should focus on helping patients reduce their symptoms through careful attention to treatment of co-existing medical, including psychiatric conditions, that might be contributing to their symptoms.

My chest pain is this stuff growing deep into my chest I had no hairs on my chest this replacement hair is Morgellons it's erupted yesterday and caused cardiac symptoms ? But unless my body was looked at properly by a microbiologist this will go undetected for many yrs to come ( covered up ) it's real it's taking over people's bodies & I still truly believe I was contaminated during a procedure last Feb as I felt my body change over night like a switch being switched on ? These are true facts I can't name the Iraqi doctor because he had the police try to charge me but charged were dropped and you tube made to remove my true account of what happened God help the world if this is bio warfare because even MI5 did nothing and I contacted them and spoke to them ?

My life is probably coming to an end nobody will ever understand what I have endured/suffered over the past 12 months from the day i was diagnosed with multiple clots on the lungs to now August 2016 where I am being eaten alive and nobody wants to help ?.
I loved life the simple things like the birds singing or the different shades of the leaves on the trees the smell of the fresh sea air even the rain can be nice when you lay in your bed listening to the pitter patter on the windows.
OMG i loved life but this alien organism that's attacked my body just took all my happiness away but it won't wipe my happy memories i love you all & forgive all the people who harmed me and maybe someone will see fit to find out what this is instead of labelling people delusional.
I love life i love animals and i thank Barbara Thomas a true friend and my next of Kin for being there when i needed someone she took good care of me and fell in love with my dog cheeky chico my best friend and companion.
To all those who refused to help me maybe your consciences will make you think about helping people in need in the future.
